Traianus Decius - Aurei   -   Die Link Report

Just to test the versatility of the method and tools in other series. I have adapted to the aurei the same technique that I used to study the DiviSeries.

The set of coins on which I have worked has been obtained from the web and some printed catalogues with enough quality for the correct identification of dies.

Unlike the other series studied (DiviSeries and Double Sesterces), for the aurei we have a small number of coins; so we can only have a reliable estimate of the original obverse dies and an approximation to some of the reverse die types.

Of course, I would appreciate any contribution in the form of pictures of coins or opinions, which you can send to my email.

In the attached table you can find details about every type, and also you can browse in detail all the coins with the advanced search tool.
