Traianus Decius Double Sestertius - Die Link Report

I have applied to the double sesterces for Traianus Decius, the same technique that I used at the time to estimate the number of original dies of the DiviSeries. Just to test the versatility of the method and tools in other types and series.
The set of coins on which I have worked has been extracted from the web and some catalog printed with enough quality for the correct identification of dies.
Regarding the obverses, during the reign of Decius we have double sesterces with his bust or with the one of the empress, these seconds are much rare.
On the obverses with the image of the emperor, This can appear draped or cuirassed, the latter being more common.
On the reverses of the minted pieces with the obverse of the emperor we see only two types: VICTORIA AVGVSTA and FELICITAS SAECVLI, with clear predominance of the latter.
The rarity of double sesterces in the name of the empress makes it difficult to make estimates, although it seems to be a limited number of original dies and a single reverse type: PVDICITIA AVGVSTA.
It is gratifying to observe how, starting from such a reduced sample (about 200 coins), we can now detect more 95% of original dies. To achieve this same percentage of knowledge in the DiviSeries Antoninians of the same emperor, it has been necessary a sample of more than 1200 coins.
Of course, I would appreciate any contribution in the form of pictures of coins or opinions, which you can send to my email.
In the next table you can find details of the distribution by type, and you can browse all the coins in detail using the advanced search tool below.
